The Children of the Night
“Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!” -Count Dracula, Dracula
I am a huge fan of Dracula, the novel by Bram Stoker, and wanted to pay homage to it with a small personal project, this being the title image.
Castle in the Carpathians
“We kept on ascending, with occasional periods of quick descent, but in the main always ascending. Suddenly, I became conscious of the fact that the driver was in the act of pulling up the horses in the courtyard of a vast ruined castle, from whose tall black windows came no ray of light, and whose broken battlements showed a jagged line against the sky.” -Jonathan Harker, Dracula
Dracula
“What manner of man is this, or what manner of creature is it in the semblance of a man?” - Jonathan Harker, Dracula
Dracula has a very distinct appearance in the book, and he has been depicted countless times, making it a little hard to come up with an original design of him. I used his aristocratic background as a boyar and some of the physical characteristics listed in his description by Stoker to influence my take on the infamous Count. Rather than make him more bat-like, I chose to give him ‘wolfish’ features for a touch of the ‘creature’ Jonathan see’s in him, and to hint at the ruthless hunter beneath the veneer of a charismatic nobleman.
The Three Sisters
“I seemed somehow to know her face, and to know it in connection with some dreamy fear, but I could not recollect at the moment how or where.” - a quite literally entranced Jonathan Harker, Dracula
These three ladies are more popularly known as the ‘brides of Dracula’, but a little fun fact is that they are never actually referred to as such in the book, only as ‘the sisters’.
Grippey the Goblin
Though he looks like a questionable companion, he’s our adventuring party’s favorite NPC. Who could resist that winning smile?
Pig
The rogue I play in my Dungeons and Dragons group, who has a penchant for stealing any food in sight.

Amma
“I’m Persephone, Queen of the Underworld. Married to that big dude, Hades. He runs Hell, but she’s in charge of punishment. But I feel sorry for Persephone, because even when she’s back with the living, they’re afraid of her because of where she’s been.” - Amma, Sharp Objects
Some quick, fun fan art I did for the HBO show, Sharp Objects, after binge watching it.
A Halfling and her Mount
A fun little traditional drawing I did during a Dungeons and Dragons session of a character I might use one day.
